he F&B Inventory Officer is responsible for the accurate control, tracking, and reporting of all food and beverage inventory. This role ensures stock integrity, minimizes waste and variance, supports cost control, and enforces inventory procedures across the operation.
Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventory counts for food and beverage items
Ensure accurate stock levels across kitchen, bar, storerooms, and freezers
Monitor par levels, expiry dates, and storage standards (FIFO)
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or expired items and report accordingly
Oversee receiving of all F&B deliveries
Verify quantities, quality, pricing, and supplier invoices against purchase orders
Flag discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods immediately
Reconcile physical counts against POS and inventory records
Investigate and report inventory variances, wastage, and shrinkage
Prepare weekly/monthly inventory reports for management review
Enforce inventory SOPs, storage procedures, and security controls
Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of all inventory items
Support internal audits and spot checks
Work closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to maintain accountability
Liaise with chefs, bar leads, and managers regarding stock usage and requirements
Communicate stock issues that may impact menu availability or service
