Export Warehouse Manager

The Export Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing export warehouse operations focusing on compliance, inventory accuracy and efficient dispatch of goods to international markets.

Inventory Control:

• Develop, implement and maintain robust inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Implement regular stock audits and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.
• Implement corrective actions to address stock inaccuracies promptly.
• Develop, implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that operations are in compliance with warehousing best practices.

 Stock Management:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock rotation and minimize product expiration or obsolescence.
• Monitor stock movement patterns and adjust storage locations as necessary to facilitate efficient rotation.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor operations, providing suggestions and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and accuracy of export operations.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage quarterly budgets for warehouse operations, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce warehouse expenses without compromising operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage finance key performance indicators to ensure warehouse costs are within budget.

 Talent Management:

• Develop Key Performance Indicators for the team to performance targets such as inventory accuracy, order accuracy, delivery times and stock turnover.
• Direct, lead and guide staff providing training and support to ensure that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard and to facilitate professional growth and productivity.
• Complete performance management activities including performance planning, monitoring and performance appraisals.

 Technology Implementation:

• Evaluate technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity in collaboration with IT.

Customer Centricity:

• Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfilment.
• Monitor performance of contractors under Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure order processing and delivery.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures to reduce the occurrence of accidents and incidents within the warehouse.
