Kaleidoscope Paints Limited, a leader in Decorative, Automotive, Industrial coatings and marine paints, seeks an experienced Export Sales Executive with a proven track record of driving export sales growth across CARICOM, Central America, and South America

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Export Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing the Company's presence in export markets. This role involves managing distributor and customer relationships, executing sales and marketing strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring the seamless delivery of products to international clients. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support business objectives while gaining exposure to diverse markets and international business practices. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

Sales Strategy, Business Development & Revenue Growth 

  • Support the developmenr and execution of sales strategies to achieve export revenue targets.
  • Actively manage assigned accounts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and market share.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned export targets in export markets through proactive prospecting, market research, sales presentations and strategic proposals.
  • Assist in prospecting and acquiring new customers within target export territories.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to the design of recovery plans to address gaps.
  • Support forecasting, budget preparation, and performance analysis to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of market entry strategies, joint business plans, route to market, and go to market plans.
  • Monitor sales performance closely and propose recovery plans for shortfalls.
Sales and Customer Management 
  • Develop and maintain profitable relationships with existing and new export customers, understanding their needs and providing technical support on products.
  • Drive sales with assigned export accounts and distributors, building strong relationships as understanding their long term goals.
  • Keep customers informed of product developments, brand extensions and promotions.
  • Provide timely resolution of customer issues and complaints, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
  • Monitor customer inventory, stock rotation, and slow moving items to ensure a healthy sales cycle.
  • Collect export account receivables and adhere to credit policies.
Export Operations and Logistics 
  • Collaborate with logisitics and documentation teams to coordinate export orders, shipment schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor the progress of shipments and provide accurate updates to customers.
  • Maintain up to date sales binders, export presentations, pricing information and trade materials suitable for in person or virtual engagements,
  • Monitor each stage of the export sales process to ensure high quality service and after sales support.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow projections and follow up on credit notes, trade marketing reimbursement claims, and customer complaints, ensuring all complaints are properly logged and closed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Color Support, Service Technicians, Quality Control, and Training teams to resolve customer issues, complaints, colour code management and related colour support matters ensuring minimal customer downtime.

 Marketing and Market Development 

  • Support the planning and implementation of export marketing campaigns, trade promotions and product launches.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, product seminars, and customer events to showcase products and promote the Company's brand.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, customer trends, and industry developments to support strategic decision making.
  • Communicate product and packaging innovation to enhance brand visibility and market appeal. 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for makreting acitivities to support sales growth and brand visibility.
  • Assist in the preparation of country specific sales and marketing plans, providing input and recommendations to support strategic objectives.
  • Expand market coverage and visibility of branded products within retail and distributor channels.
Reporting and Planning
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales performance, market gaps, costing analysis and other key metrics to support informed decision making.
  • Keep the Commercial Export Manager informed on customer needs, challenges, regulatory changes, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Assist with travel and visitation programs, trade mission reports, and the preparation of export action plans.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in target export markets.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting and performance monitoring to ensure sales targets and strategi cobjectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and marketing initiatives for reporting and planning purposes.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations to optimize trade strategies, promotional activities, and overall market growth.
Product Knowledge and Compliance 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and relevant export regulations.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and adherence to safety, quality and operational standards.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Experience 
  • BSc Degree in Marketing, International Business or related field.
  • 8 + Years in export sales and marketing, with demonstrated success boosting revenues in CARICOM, OECS, Latin, Central and South America.
  • Strong Spanish skills (asset), proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Power Point and Business Analytics Tool)
  • Valid passport, Visa, reliable vehicle and flexible to travel.
  • Passion for growing international markets and building lasting relationships.
