We are currently hiring for the following key role:


Executive Sous Chef-Banqueting


JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Sous Chef (Banqueting) is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations related to banquets, conferences, and special events. This role supports the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, and directing the preparation and execution of high-quality banqueting menus, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction. The Executive Sous Chef provides strong leadership to the banqueting kitchen team, manages food production, controls costs, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ culinary experience in a senior role within a banqueting or high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of banquet operations, large-scale food production, and menu planning.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse culinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business demands.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
