A leading luxury resort is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly professional Executive Housekeeping Manager to join its management team. The Executive Housekeeping Manager will carry out the qualified direction, control, and monitoring of the tasks that make up the services for guest floors, public and internal areas, laundry, ironing, and sewing. The role involves:
Organizing, directing, and coordinating all housekeeping and laundry staff.
Directing and planning the set of activities in the department to ensure operational efficiency.
Directing, supervising, and controlling the purchases and stocks of linen, maintenance, and cleaning products.
Managing the control and inventory of furniture, belongings, and materials for guest rooms, public areas, and the organization of the laundry service.
Preparing statistics and reports for management and other departments, as well as directing the training and development of the personnel under your charge.
Taking control and ensuring the delivery of "lost and found" items.
Ensuring the control and care of supplies, managing costs effectively.
Conducting price analysis of various suppliers and products, focusing on quality, value, and service.
Conducting interviews with new staff to build a high-performing team.
Overseeing renovations and repairs in rooms and public areas in coordination with the engineering team.
Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in a Housekeeping department, preferably within a luxury resort or large-scale hotel.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a large, multicultural team effectively.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with an uncompromising eye for detail.
Strong financial acumen for budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.
Proficiency in preparing reports and using relevant property management systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operation.
In-depth knowledge of industrial laundry operations, cleaning standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
