The Executive Assistant and Human Resources Officer will play a key role in supporting the Managing Director's office by coordinating meetings, managing email priorities, responding to customer inquiries as needed, and preparing essential reports to ensure smooth company operations.

The Executive Assistant and Human Resources Officer will play a key role in supporting the Managing Director's office by coordinating meetings, managing email priorities, responding to customer inquiries as needed, and preparing essential reports to ensure smooth company operations. The incumbent will also be required to provide comprehensive Human Resources support services in the areas of employee onboarding, offboarding, and other staffing support services that are aimed at effective workforce management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Managing Director in the management of the workforce including planning, engagement and performance management.
  • Collect and review data to inform the efficient operation of the Managing Director's office. 
  • To work with the HRBP to ensure that critical Human Resources services for the company are delivered in keeping with SLAs.
  • Establishing positive relationships with managers and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contribute to a pro-active and stable employee relations environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide, receive and process sensitive information.
  • Work collaboratively with other colleagues across the workforce including the Human Resources Unit to build relationships and a positive working culture.
  • Work closely with the HRBP regarding payroll input ensuring that the information is relevant and timely.

REQUIREMENTS

  • First Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications or equivalent qualifications form a recognized institution
  • At least (3) years experience working in Human Resources or customer service environment, preferably within a service industry.
  • Experience in event planning would be an asset


SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, agents, and customers.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in marketing tools/software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
