This person will be responsible for participating in the development and support of virtual webcast programs. These programs are designed to support stakeholder and firm objectives.

OVERVIEW:

This KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named "Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)" operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide professional services and support to its member firm KPMG United States ("the Client").

 

JOB SUMMARY:

This person will be responsible for participating in the development and support of virtual webcast programs. These programs are designed to support stakeholder and firm objectives. The role involves coordinating various aspects of a webcast to ensure successful outcomes. This includes collaborating with different teams and managing virtual events to meet organizational goals.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery


  • Plan and execute internal and external video webcasts, webcast vendor communications, managing pre-recording/editing and post-production of webcasts to include pre-and post-event reporting and analysis.
  • Responsibilities include managing stakeholders, making discovery calls with the client, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define timelines and content expectations as well as consulting on webcast features that will enhance attendee engagement teams. Meetings support includes end-to-end meeting management with tools such as Cvent, Microsoft Teams Meetings, and Notified/Brand Live.
  • Other responsibilities may include continuing professional education (CPE) credit processing, event communications distribution, updating stakeholder and team specific documentation, and communicating standard processes to stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communications or a related field from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in virtual events or webcast production. HTML and basic CSS, event planning and/or marketing experience, a plus
  • Video editing and/or production experience preferred
  • Experience leading or providing customer support for virtual meetings (e.g. Zoom, Teams)
  • Strong eye for editorial issues with on-screen copy and lay-out familiarity with U.S editorial guidelines and styles (e.g., AP, a plus)
  • Basic understanding of webcast platforms and technologies (Notified/Brand Live or Teams Live) and/or event management systems (Cvent), a plus
  • Ability to work independently and work well within a team

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communications or a related field from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in virtual events or webcast production. HTML and basic CSS, event planning and/or marketing experience, a plus
  • Video editing and/or production experience preferred
  • Experience leading or providing customer support for virtual meetings (e.g. Zoom, Teams)
  • Strong eye for editorial issues with on-screen copy and lay-out familiarity with U.S editorial guidelines and styles (e.g., AP, a plus)
  • Basic understanding of webcast platforms and technologies (Notified/Brand Live or Teams Live) and/or event management systems (Cvent), a plus
  • Ability to work independently and work well within a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

SPECIAL CONDITIONS


  • Expected to work in a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home in Jamaica and being in the office. You will be required to spend a minimum of five days each month in the office, though this number may increase depending on business needs
  • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
