Summary: The incumbent is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment for Head Office and Warehouses (North). Person coordinates and directs the Preventative Maintenance and repair of same through the service technicians and selected contractors as necessary.
Summary: The incumbent is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment for Head Office and Warehouses (North). He/she coordinates and directs the Preventative Maintenance and repair of same through the service technicians and selected contractors as necessary. In most cases of contracted work, a prior agreement on price will be necessary with three quotations being obtained before work commences. He/she oversees the proper operation and timely resolution of the Equipment through the CRM for the Hot and Cold Equipment. The incumbent undertakes his responsibilities with a significant level of autonomy but must consult with the Business Development Manager for decision making outside of pre-established guidelines.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Directly supervises services maintenance crews.
● Directs work of Contractors.
● Ensure the effective working of the CRM Process.
● Liaises with Service Teams to ensure all outstanding critical and urgent Audit issues are addressed within stipulated timelines.
● Categorises and follows up all CRM issues with Service Technicians.
● Monitors all cost of technical services performed and works within pre-established budget. Issues all Purchase Orders for parts replacement in keeping with the needs of the services provided.
● Organises training programs for the services maintenance crews in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, according to pre-determined needs.
● Liaises with the Technicians and their respective assistants to ensure that Preventative Maintenance Programs are implemented and are up to the required standard.
● Equipment Maintenance Manager Maintains good relationships with all internal and external customers at all times.
● Conducts performance appraisals on the work performance of direct sub-ordinates.
● Supervises all contracted agreements to ensure that terms of contract have been fulfilled. Conducts annual needs inventory surveys for all PHL restaurants.
● Prepares the annual budget for the department and submits for approval.
● Coordinates the maintenance of all of the following:
● Kitchen equipment, both the “hot side” and “cold side”.
● All Preventative Maintenance works.
● Electrical infrastructure. o
● The maintenance of Parts Room located at Warehouse. o
● The purchasing of new parts and replacement equipment

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
● Certification in Electrical or other related area of study
● Five (5) years experience in the Equipment Service Maintenance
