The mandate of the Engineering Internship Programme is to provide our interns with practical learning and professional development opportunities, while having a first hand experience of the Engineering functions of the Jamaica Public Service Company.

The mandate of the Engineering Internship Programme is to provide our interns with practical learning and professional development opportunities, while having a first hand experience of the Engineering functions of the Jamaica Public Service Company. This is a one-year full-time internship programme from September 2024 to August 2025. Interns will be paid during the period of engagement.
Requirements:
•Must be an Electrical or Industrial Operations Engineering Major or equivalent
•Must be in the final year of the programme – 2024 Graduate
•Outstanding academic performance – minimum 3.4 GPA
•GPA should be clearly stated on the resume
•Title of Final Year Project must be stated on the resume, with a brief summary
•Interns will be rotated across the Energy Delivery and Generation departments in the business and get to work on projects
•Successful completion of the programme may result in placement in the organization if suitable vacancies exist
•Applicants should have attended any of the major Universities in Jamaica
•Applicants must be recommended by the University’s faculty, which must be submitted with application
