Job Summary:

As an Employee Relations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing labour relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting organizational changes. Your expertise will help maintain a harmonious workplace and mitigate potential risks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Labor Relations & Union Management: Lead negotiations, handle grievances, and ensure compliance with labour laws. 

Legal & Compliance Support: Collaborate with legal teams to navigate labour law matters and maintain adherence to regulations.

Strategic Employee Relations Leadership: Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and promote a positive work environment.

Restructuring & Organizational Change Management: Support leaders during organizational changes, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company objectives.

Tracking, Reporting & Follow-Up: Maintain thorough documentation and provide regular updates to leadership on employee relations matters.

Training & Policy Development: Design and deliver training on labour law and employee relations, and develop policies that support company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree
  • Qualified Attorney-at-Law
  • 3–5 years of experience in employment and labour law
  • Strong understanding of labour relations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skill
