If you're experienced in managing large teams, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, and driving projects across power generation, utilities, and industrial environments, this role offers the chance to lead strategically critical work that directly supports operational growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise project support staff across the Engineering & Business Development Department.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams for medium- to large-scale capital projects (up to CI$90 million).
- Oversee the delivery of diverse projects including power generation expansions, substation developments, M&E system upgrades, and facility construction.
- Ensure projects are executed to meet defined safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
- Promote and enforce compliance with company-wide safety standards and protocols among internal teams and contractors.
- Provide expert-level project management and engineering support across departments.
- Foster collaboration across stakeholders to maintain project momentum and alignment.
- Carry out additional duties aligned with project and business priorities.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management, particularly in industrial construction, production environments, or systems optimization.
- At least 5 years’ experience working within electric utilities or similar technical infrastructure sectors.
- Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management qualification.
- Proven leadership in overseeing complex, high-value projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.
