The International Master of Strategic Marketing (IMSM) addresses the complex issues that face marketing managers in the twenty-first century. The programme focuses on marketing strategy and management within the context of global and international markets. Participants are able to evaluate cultural differences and acquire enhanced skills in developing and implementing marketing strategies and decision making in international contexts. The programme is comprehensive, intellectually demanding and presents an up-to-date understanding of business and marketing concepts. Of crucial importance, is the ability to analyse and evaluate a rapidly changing business environment, to plan accordingly and to implement customer-focused solutions that will deliver both financial performance and develop long-term client-business relationships.

Programme Structure

24 Month Programme of 14 core courses, seven (7) workshops two, (2) face to face non – credit courses and a group practicum.

 

Students in the IMSM Programme are given the opportunity to strengthen foreign language skills and expand cultural understanding. The programme takes into account trends in Marketing  education around the world. The method of delivery of the programme relies on a diverse mix of international and local lecturers. 

Our international facilitators bring to the programme research, teaching and consulting styles from an European, Asian and North American perspective while our local facilitators add their rich knowledge about the complex and rapidly changing business environment found in the Caribbean, Latin America and other countries facing similar challenges. 

The exposure from our Caribbean based and international facilitators bring to the fore, a holistic knowledge about business organisations in a complex environment.
