The JSE e-Campus’ Certificate Course in Fundamentals of Money Markets begins October 13, 2013. 

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Jamaica Stock Exchange’s Certificate Course in Fundamentals of Money Markets will be offered in a blended format, online and face-to-face, and is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the workings of the money markets (including the equity markets), locally and internationally.

Emphasis will be given to analysis of various types of money market products and how they can be valued and how the risks on these products can be identified. As a prequel to this analysis, some basics of financial mathematics is covered including present value, compounding and necessary statistical concepts to enable appreciation of subsequent discussions on risk management.
