Duties and Responsibilities :
Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and security during transit.
Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing timely transportation to patients in need of urgent medical care.
Ensure that all emergency medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked, maintained, and ready for use during transport.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the ambulance or emergency vehicle to ensure it is in safe and operational condition.
Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, healthcare providers, and team members regarding patient status, transport details, and any changes in condition.
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to patient transport, including patient information, treatment provided, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Work in conjunction with EMTs and paramedics to assist with patient care as needed during transport, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic first aid.
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and safety.
Represent the organization positively while interacting with patients, families, and the public, maintaining professionalism and compassion at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in emergency medical services and patient care.
