Duty Manager - Mango Bay Hotel

Mango Bay Hotel is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery across our property. This role is central to maintaining high standards of hospitality and smooth coordination between teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations and staff performance during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and service quality standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to senior management.
  • Support training and development initiatives for frontline staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality or service industries.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures and customer service standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospitality management systems.
