Location: Suriname (Paramaribo)
Contract: 3 years 
Schedule: Onshore rotational 4×4 

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Drilling Fluid & Cement Superintendent to support a deepwater, multi‑well development project. The role includes leading engineering studies, overseeing fluids and cement programs, coordinating contractors, and ensuring safe, efficient drilling operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Promote strong HSE culture and compliance. 
• Lead fluids/cement engineering and prepare Basis of Design.
• Review programs, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage contractor performance, logistics planning, and cost tracking.
• Support operational execution and troubleshoot drilling challenges.
• Ensure accurate reporting, team supervision, and performance improvement. 

Requirements

• 20+ years in fluids & cement operations; 5+ years as superintendent.
• Deepwater drilling and exploration experience.
• Experience setting up facilities such as liquid mud plants.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and project coordination skills.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus. 

Certifications

• Valid offshore survival certificate (BOSIET + HUET + CA‑EBS).
• IWCF or WellCap (Supervisor/Subsea).
