Distributor Manager - Dominica

The Distributor Manager – is responsible for driving in-market execution, distributor performance, and achieving sales and marketing objectives across assigned territories.

POSITION PROFILE

The Distributor Manager  is responsible for the execution of sales, distribution and marketing strategies within Dominica to grow profitably in the company's international business.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

• Compile and submit weekly Re-Order Report to monitor distributor stock levels and reorder cycles.
• Prepare Monthly In-Market Marketing Report, assessing promotional activity, trade visibility and sales targets.
• Achieve monthly and annual budget targets for both purchases and in-market sales.
• Conduct monthly pricing survey to ensure market pricing compliance and alignment with strategy.
• Partner with the distributor to develop and implement brand strategy and marketing plans.
• Participate in B2B meetings and engage major accounts, supporting business growth and retention.
• Conduct weekly trade visits and audits to monitor execution and gain market insights.
• Coordinate with the distributor for the execution of consumer promotions.
• Lead efforts around new product launches, ensuring full alignment on listings, launch planning, and implement execution.
• Drive the increase of Net Numeric Distribution (NND) for the full SMJ portfolio across territories.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all distributor-related issues, including shipment delays, customer complaints, and supply chain disruptions.

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to adapt/modify and develop marketing strategy according to different market/country characteristics.
• Ability to work well with wide cross section of individuals in different markets

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in the FMCG industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
