Distribution Warehouse Facilities Manager

We are seeking a Distribution Warehouse Facility Manager for expanding business.

Job Summary:
The position is to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure the facility operates efficiently, remains compliant with safety regulations, and supports the overall logistics and distribution activities. The role will include the maintenance of the corporate building, distribution warehouse, satellite warehouses and grounds of the organization, directing staff, and overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies. To ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained, which entails daily and weekly cleaning schedules as well as scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for service, repairs, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Manage & monitor facility budgets, expenses, and procurement.
• Oversee security, access control, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Support logistics operations by maintaining proper storage conditions.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize facility usage and workflow.

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, and skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or Engineering/facilities management.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a managerial position plus experience with distribution networks
• Certification in Facilities management, Project Management training, Warehouse management systems, forklift operations, safety/OSHA type training.
