As part of a rapidly growing distribution team the Sales Manager must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual who is able to plan, implement and account for the department’s resources
Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:
1) Development and monitoring of sales routes, implement an maintain a CRM
2) Tactical management of sales representatives on a daily basis, reporting and controlling routes, customer activity and product turnover in a timely manner
3) Ensure effective stock levels are maintained and stock-outs prevented through close liaison with purchasing
4) Work as part of a team to develop marketing strategies and implement controls for approved strategies analyzing their effectiveness
5) Present monthly reports analyzing sales and marketing strategies
6) Lead the Sales Force in developing in-store promotional activities and ”specials” presenting them for approval
7) Reporting and continuous assessment of SWOT analysis, growth and development
8) Keep in touch with market conditions reporting on a regular basis
The ideal candidate must be a national of Trinidad & Tobago, 30 years or older, have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a relevant field and possess a University Degree or equivalent with a valid drivers license and reliable working vehicle. Preference will be given to the applicant with a proven track record, an understanding of distribution, merchandising and marketing. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
