Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager oversees the personnel, processes, and systems within the Distribution Centre. The incumbent is tasked with implementing and utilizing strategies to ensure that the department's productivity targets are consistently achieved and maintained.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee inventory of the company's finished goods
• Manage order processing and delivery of the company’s finished goods
• Lead personnel and develop teams with a strong focus on cross-training and succession planning
• Effective management and upkeep of facilities and equipment allocated to the distribution department
• Reporting on established key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing new KPIs as necessary
• Ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures to enhance performance and profitability
• Ensure adherence to the standards set by the Company’s quality management system to facilitate compliance with annual internal and external audits
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to occupational safety and health standards.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Education/Training & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field
• At least 5 years’ related work experience
• Experience working in compliance with ISO and OSH standards would be an asset
