Manage the activities related to the movement of inventory across the H&L network

DISTRIBUTION CENTRE LIAISON OFFICER

 Purpose of the Role

To manage the activities related to the Third-Party Logistics operators of the H&L Distribution Centre, primarily the movement of goods, i.e., receipt, dispatch, and overall management of inventory.

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Managing all activities associated with the Third-Party operation of the Distribution Centre and ensuring that deliverables are within the contractual agreement including KPIs.
  • Ensure that interactions with all stakeholders, including feedback are timely and relevant.
  • Ensure that all logistical related processes are executed within established guidelines.
  • Ensure movement of goods is in accordance with the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programme.
  • Support the budget planning process and execute expenditure within agreed parameters.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Business or equivalent qualification with related certification in respective areas
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite (focus on word, excel & power point).
  • Two (2) years’ experience working in a warehousing and distribution environment with at least one year at a supervisory level.
