Visual Oasis is seeking a Dispensing Optician. This hands-on role involves fitting and dispensing eyewear based on prescriptions, while delivering exceptional customer service, sales support, and professional eye care guidance to our patients.

Core Responsibilities

• Interpreting optical prescriptions and preparing work orders for the lab for grinding and mounting of lenses in frames, preparation of contact lenses and other required work.
• Verifying the exactness of finished optical appliances and devices to the original prescription and fit of clients.
• Examining and taking facial and eye measurements of patients for fitting of eyewear.
• Providing advice to clients with the selection and maintenance of glasses/frames/shades/contact lenses to improve performance, safety, comfort and lifestyle.
• Ordering lenses from labs, managing inventory, billing, and processing insurance.
