Role Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Director of Sales to lead the sales function of our ultra-luxury resorts on the island of Grenada.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Director of Sales will execute the hotel's sales strategy across all market segments, manage key accounts and partnerships, and lead the sales team to deliver consistent revenue performance.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior sales role.
  • Proven experience managing sales teams and key accounts in ultra-luxury or resort environments.
  • Solid knowledge of key international source markets — US, EU, and GCC — with an established network in the luxury travel trade.
  • Experience in hotel pre-opening or opening phases is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business, or Economic Studies.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, PMS, extranets, and sales management tools.
  • Good understanding of revenue management principles and distribution channels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the hotel's annual sales strategy, across leisure FIT, groups, corporate, weddings, and events.
  • Oversee the pre-opening sales phase including rate plan development, consortia contracting, and account activation.
  • Manage key accounts and strategic travel trade relationships, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Working closely with operations and finance to ensure excellence.
  • Translate commercial targets into clear team objectives and individual KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Revenue, Reservation & Marketing Management on pricing proposals, group forecasting, and overall hotel performance.
  • Lead sales activities including roadshows, FAM trips, trade shows, and client events.
  • Engage global sales representatives to ensure the hotel is well-represented in key international markets.
  • Report regularly to the Director of Marketing on pipeline, production, and market activity.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and uphold reporting standards across the sales team.
