Job Summary: Leads shared corporate functions including Hunan Resource, Compliance, Accounting, Information Technology, Marketing etc. Establishes policies, governance and systems to provide scalable, efficient and compliant support services for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Oversee daily functions necessary for business execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leads the work of teams providing direct services such as finance, research, administration, human resources, information technology etc.
  • Create, review and amend company policies and strategic plans.
  • Lead development and implementation of plans, policies, and strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Integrate services of each department to improve synergy and the operations of the company.
  • Creates a culture of high performance and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the company in collaboration with senior management.
  • Collaborate with members of the executive management team to align the strategy of departments with the overall goals of the company.
  • Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for senior staff and conduct annual / bi-annual performance appraisals as required.
  • Create and track key performance metrics within business units. Assess departmental performance, develop and implement process improvements.
  • Capable of working weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge understanding of shared services models, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Extensive knowledge of process optimisation methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile etc.
  • Knowledge of technologies, including ERP systems, RPA, and AI, and other automation systems.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SMS, CRM systems.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets, and analyse financial data. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

 Minimum Training and Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Finance or any related field.
  • Master’s degree in in Business Administration, Human Resource, Finance or professional certifications (e.g. CIPD, CPA) will be an asset.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience progressive leadership across corporate or shared services, with demonstrated ability to develop policy, oversee support functions, implement systems.  
  • Any other combination of training and experience.
