Location: Jamaica | Remote flexibility.

Industry: Fintech | B2B Trade Credit Platform

Compensation: USD $90,000–$110,000 base + KPI-linked bonus + meaningful equity participation


About Genieum

Genieum is an early-stage fintech building a platform that helps suppliers and buyers manage B2B trade credit more effectively.

Trade credit is one of the largest and least structured credit markets globally.

Many SMEs struggle with extended payment cycles and margin pressure from early payment discounts.

Genieum’s Collaborative Trade Credit model introduces a modern framework designed to improve SME cash flow flexibility, strengthen commercial relationships and support sustainable B2B growth.

Genieum is planning a phased market release approach commencing in Australia in Q1 followed by early adopter marketing in UK, select EU countries and USA in Q3 2026, followed by an eventual full launch in those markets in 2027.

Genieum is a B2B only product. Genieum is not factoring nor lending. 

Genieum is a globally scalable, regulatory-aligned platform rethinking how SMEs use trade credit to strengthen commercial advantage.

We are founder-led, commercially focused, and preparing for a formal Series A raise in late 2026.

The founder is Australia based but has founded and launched a large B2B fintech in Australia and USA previously.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially driven, Jamaica based, executive to work directly with the CEO and founder to build and lead Genieum’s global marketing and sales ambitions.

This is a senior leadership role with direct accountability for:

  • Revenue growth
  • Market positioning
  • Partner recruitment
  • Supplier onboarding
  • Commercial strategy execution

You will work directly with the Founder to shape and scale the commercial function at a pivotal stage of development and early stage growth.

This is a builder’s role — not a caretaker role.  You will shape the commercial DNA of the company.


What You Will Own

Revenue & Pipeline

  • Drive end-to-end commercial pipeline development
  • Convert qualified leads into active Members
  • Establish scalable, repeatable commercial processes
  • Own revenue performance metrics

Market Positioning

  • Refine messaging that resonates with SME decision-makers
  • Translate structured architecture into clear commercial language
  • Align marketing automation output with real-world conversion

Partner & Adviser Development

  • Recruit and support professional advisers and firms with trusted SME client relationships aligned with Genieum’s model. 
  • Equip Partners to confidently position Genieum to their clients
  • Build Partner introducer referral channels

US Market Preparation

  • Support positioning ahead of US expansion
  • Contribute to capital markets credibility
  • Travel periodically to the US for strategic meetings

What This Role Requires

You must genuinely understand:

  • SME working capital pressures
  • Extended payment term dynamics
  • Early payment discount trade-offs
  • B2B sales motivations
  • Adviser-client commercial conversations

You should be able to:

  • Speak credibly with SME owners and CFOs
  • Support advisers in explaining Genieum clearly
  • Simplify structured concepts into practical benefits

Technical structured finance or trade credit expertise is not required.

Authentic commercial understanding is essential.

This is not a corporate middle-management role.


Experience Profile

  • 8+ years in senior commercial, revenue or growth leadership roles.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, professional services or complex B2B environments is advantageous.
  • Exposure to US or international markets is advantageous
  • Comfortable managing strategic conversations with senior stakeholders

Compensation & Upside

This is a senior role with senior compensation:

  • USD $90,000–$110,000 base salary
  • KPI-linked performance bonus
  • Meaningful long-term equity participation

We are seeking someone who wants to build something significant — not simply hold a title.


Location & Flexibility

  • Jamaica-based preferred
  • Hybrid / remote flexibility
  • International travel required (including US)
