About The Repair Campaign
Established in 2022, The Repair Campaign is a social movement and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness and building solidarity for the Caribbean reparatory justice movement, guided by the CARICOM Reparations Commission’s 10-point plan for Reparatory Justice. The Campaign calls on the UK and other European governments, institutions and individuals who perpetrated and benefited from chattel slavery and its legacy to apologise and commit to meaningful repair. We work across the Caribbean and internationally to raise awareness, mobilise communities, influence policy, and educate the public on issues of historical injustice and repair.
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organised Digital Media Manager to lead and grow our digital presence. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic digital communications strategy that expands our reach, deepens engagement, and mobilises supporters into meaningful action. The ideal candidate understands how digital storytelling can drive movement-building and is passionate about social justice and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Campaigns
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with organisational goals.
Design and execute digital campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and supporter mobilisation.
Translate campaign priorities into compelling online narratives.
Content Creation & Management
Manage a consistent content calendar aligned with key dates, events, and advocacy moments.
Oversee content creation across social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Mailchimp etc.).
Oversee production of newsletter content and design and manage publication.
Draft engaging captions, scripts, email copy, and web content.
Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual identity remain cohesive across platforms.
Social Media Engagement & Growth
Grow, diversity and engage our digital community across regions.
Monitor comments, messages, and conversations, fostering meaningful dialogue.
Identify opportunities to convert followers into volunteers, donors, and advocates.
Identify opportunities and create strategies for digital partnerships across platforms.
Optimise digital funnels to convert engagement into signatures in solidarity.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance metrics across digital platforms.
Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics reports with insights and recommendations.
Use data to refine strategy and optimise engagement.
Multimedia & Production
Oversee design and production of graphics, short-form video, and digital toolkits.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and campaign teams as needed.
Ensure accessibility standards and inclusive representation in digital outputs.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in digital communications, digital marketing or social media management.
Proven track record of growing digital platforms and increasing engagement.
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
Experience using analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.).
Intermediate graphic design/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
Experience working in non-profit, advocacy, or social justice spaces would be a plus.

Working Conditions
The Digital Media Manager must be a CARICOM national and eligible to work in a CARICOM country.
Standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, but flexibility is required, as occasional early morning, evening, or weekend commitments may arise. The role may involve participating in events, meetings and networking activities outside of standard hours when necessary.
Limited regional or international travel may be required for coordination meetings, training or campaign events.
