Direct Reports: 3 Social Media Executives, 1 Junior Social Media Executive

Role Purpose

The Digital Manager Manager is responsible for leading CVM TV’s end-to-end social media and digital growth strategy—driving audience expansion, engagement, brand visibility, and revenue. This role oversees daily content execution, manages a team of social media professionals, and leads the development of the overall digital strategy for CVM TV.

The successful candidate will innovate aggressively—growing CVM’s social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube), increasing monetization opportunities, and ensuring a dynamic, premium-quality digital presence across all consumer-facing touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Digital Growth

Develop, lead, and execute the overall digital strategy for CVM TV across all platforms.

Build aggressive growth plans for CVM’s social media and YouTube channels including subscriber, viewership, and engagement targets.

Analyze audience insights and platform trends to optimize content direction and digital positioning.

Innovate new digital formats, show extensions, live digital events, and platform-specific content to expand viewership and relevance.


2. Team Management & Performance Leadership

Directly supervise and performance manage a team of three (3) Social Media Executives and one (1) Junior Social Media Executive.

Set KPIs, coach team members, evaluate performance, and ensure timely, high-quality content delivery.

Build a creative, data-driven culture that encourages innovation and rapid experimentation.


3. Revenue Growth & Client Service

Develop and execute a social-first commercial strategy to drive meaningful digital revenue growth.

Create digital advertising solutions, branded content concepts, influencer integrations, and multiplatform executions for CVM’s sales team.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to pitch social media and YouTube-based advertising packages to clients.

Ensure high-quality delivery of sponsored digital content, commercial posts, and campaign executions.


4. Content Development & Publishing Oversight

Oversee all daily postings, social storytelling, and real-time digital engagement during key news, entertainment, and sports moments.

Ensure content aligns with CVM’s editorial standards, brand voice, and strategic objectives.

Implement a content calendar that supports programs such as Sunrise, CVM News, special coverage, major events, and seasonal campaigns.


5. Platform Optimization & Analytics

Monitor analytics, produce weekly/monthly performance reports, and recommend optimisation strategies.

Track competitor performance and industry benchmark data.

Implement SEO/YouTube best practices—thumbnails, titles, metadata, playlists—to increase discoverability and watch-time.


6. Website & App Management

Manage all consumer-facing elements of the CVM TV website and mobile app.

Ensure content accuracy, visual appeal, navigation clarity, and timely updates.

Drive initiatives to grow website traffic, video views, user retention, and app downloads.


7. Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with News, Production, Programming, Marketing, Events, and Sales to ensure unified digital execution.

Support major CVM properties—election coverage, hurricane coverage, special programming, telethons, Sunrise events—through cohesive digital integration.
