Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWO) Offshore Trinidad & Tobago | 28 x 28 Rotation | 12-Month Contract

Scope Overview

We are looking for experienced offshore personnel to support the 24/7 operation and maintenance of Company-owned Hydraulic Workover Units (HWO units) across all Perenco offshore assets in Trinidad and Tobago.

Operations are continuous 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with no shutdowns for holidays unless directed by the Company. The Derrickman forms part of Scope B: Unit Crew and supports well intervention, workover, and well control activities in compliance with Perenco procedures and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

HWO Operations

• Support loading, mobilisation, rig-up, rig-down and demobilisation of Hydraulic

Workover Units and associated equipment

• Assist running and retrieving completion, tubing, drill pipe and work strings as per

Company well programmes

• Support milling operations, including packers, tubulars, sand clean-out, and power swivel operations

• Support drilling and section enlargement activities, including whipstock setting, window milling, casing running and cementing

Well Intervention & Pressure Control

• Participate in all types of well intervention operations, including GP, ESP and heavy workovers

• Assist with plug and abandon operations (temporary and permanent)

• Support well pressure control activities and maintain well integrity at all times

Pump Man & Fluids Duties

• Operate as Pump Man, monitoring and maintaining hydraulic and circulation systems

• Mix, condition and control workover and completion fluids according to Company well programmes

• Monitor returns and fluid properties and report abnormalities to the Company representative

Equipment & Testing

• Assist with pressure testing of BOPs, casing and wellheads

• Support routine maintenance of well control equipment

• Ensure test results are recorded accurately in Company and IADC-API Daily

Drilling Reports

Measurements & Documentation

• Assist with accurate measurement of well depth, tubular lengths, diameters and connections

• Support maintenance of:

o Drill pipe tally books

o Bottom hole assembly records

o Fishing diagrams and tool records

Mandatory Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years oilfield experience

• Minimum 1 year in a similar position such as Derrickman or Pump Man

• Proven experience on Hydraulic Workover Units (HWU)

• Demonstrated exposure to well intervention operations, including GP, ESP and heavy workovers

• Hands-on experience as Pump Man

• Valid OPITO T-BOSIET (or equivalent)

• Valid offshore medical certificate

• Ability to work offshore on a 28 days on / 28 days off rotation
