Demand Specialist- Corona

About the Job

The Demand Specialist plays a key role in driving brand growth and increasing product demand for Corona. This position involves direct engagement with customers during events and trade visits, ensuring strong brand visibility and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. The Demand Specialist supports the strategic execution of marketing initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing product presence, boosting customer satisfaction, and leveraging insights to maximize sales opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • MUST OWN AND OPERATE A RELIABLE MOTOR CAR.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the alcoholic beverages industry.

Specialized Knowledge & Training:

  • Knowledge of Wines & Spirits would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with event management.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.

Skills & Behaviors:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, customers, and team members.
  • Persuasive Selling: Skilled at convincing potential clients to purchase products, thereby driving sales and revenue.
  • Customer-Focused: Able to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategies:
    • Provide specialized advice to assigned customers with the goal of increasing the demand for Corona.
    • Analyze market trends to adjust sales strategies for maximum effectiveness.
    • Support the development of product branding and innovations based on feedback information received from customers.
  • Client Relationships:
    • Collaborate with the Category Manager or Marketing Manager to plan and execute regular client visits to build rapport and understand client environments.
    • Gather insights on competitor activities and client preferences during visits.
    • Engage with clients at events and community bars to understand their needs and preferences. 
  • Brand Representation:
    • Ensure proper execution of branding materials and availability of products at events.
    • Ensure consistent and appealing presentation of the brand at various events.
    • Educate customers and clients about the brand's values and product offerings. 
  • Event Coordination:
    • Assist in the planning, setup and execution of promotional events and activities, aligning with the company's brand image.
    • Negotiate and assist with coordinating the successful execution of round robins and drink outs, using these opportunities to build relationships with customers.
