Demand Planner

THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.

 

Our client located in the East of Trinidad is seeking to fill the position of Demand Planner 

  

SALARY RANGE: $10,000.00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Collection and Analysis:
 Gather data from internal and external sources related to factors influencing demand
(e.g., historical sales, market trends, promotions).
 Analyze sales, stock, and other relevant statistics.
Forecasting and Modeling:
 Use statistical models to predict future demand.
 Review historical sales trends to identify patterns and seasonality.
External Factors Consideration:
 Take into account external occurrences (e.g., promotions, production delays) that could
impact demand.
Collaboration:
 Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and
their effect on demand.
 Attend and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Supply Chain Alignment:
 Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to align demand forecasts with
production and inventory strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Pursuing CIPS – completed Level 4 (Diploma in Procurement & Supply)
 Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
 Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
 Experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

 Forecasting: Ability to create accurate demand forecasts.
 Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data insights to inform planning.
 Communication: Effectively convey information to cross-functional teams.
 Adaptability: Respond to changing market dynamics.
 Problem-Solving: Address supply-demand imbalances effectively.
