Deli Assistant

The Business and Employment Centre is recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Deli Assistant. We’re seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual with a passion for food and service excellence to join a busy deli team.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of deli items following recipes and standards
• Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with serving customers and restocking supplies
• Support smooth daily operations and other related duties as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a deli or food service environment (an asset)
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Passionate about food and providing excellent customer service
