DELIVERY DRIVER

We are looking for dynamic, customer oriented Delivery Drivers for The Rib Shack Ltd.

Job Function

The Delivery Driver/Rider is responsible for quick delivery of food orders to the customer and the maintenance of the delivery vehicle.  All activities must conform to the guidelines and standards set by the organization and must be in accordance with health and safety standards and the road Laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Monitor order log to effect deliveries and verify and prioritize orders and delivery addresses

2. Make deliveries to customers within established timeframe and in accordance with guidelines while observing all    traffic      laws.

3. Manage and maintain customer relationships in accordance with established service guidelines

4. Receive call-in orders and ensure that accurate information is recorded on the system

5.Ensure that orders are correct and that all condiments are available to customers

6. Receive payments and provide change as required

7. Assist in marketing exercises by delivering promotional information to determined customer base

8. Perform Customer Service Team Member functions such as, but not limited to the following when not on           deliveries: -

• Telemarketing
• Clearing and cleaning of tables in dining areas
• Removal of waste
• Rotation of stock according to guidelines
• Counter deliveries
• Answering phones i.e. receiving customer orders
• Front counter related duties
• Distributing orders.
• Folding pizza, chicken and sandwich boxes, wrapping eating utensils.
• Sanitizing drinks.
• Taking out and boxing of finished Pizza from oven

9. Maintain the roadworthiness of vehicle or motorbike

10. Adhere to all relevant safety policies and customer service guidelines while adhering to the traffic Laws of Trinidad and Tobago

11. Perform functions relating to the branch assigned  and any other related duties. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle or motorbike, whichever is applicable
• Reliable vehicle, if not provided by the company, with appropriate insurance coverage and registered for road use in accordance with the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago
• Customer Service training/certification will be an asset
