Overview: KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) is seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture by managing Indicators of Compromise (IOC) sweeps, blocks, and investigations. You will assist in automating these tasks with the ultimate goal of delivering high-fidelity true positive hits to the Incident Response (IR) team. You will evaluate IOC trends and provide intelligence to the threat hunt workstream to prioritize actions against threat actors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IOC sweeps, blocks, and investigations to identify true positive hits and provide trends for threat prioritization to the hunt workstream

• Collaborate in automating IOC sweep processes and escalate true positive hits for further investigation and remediation

• Generate daily CTI reports for CISO and senior leadership, conveying the relevance of cybersecurity news

• Support the clients CTI workstream subject matter expert (SME) in managing alerts and investigations from various CTI tools to ensure comprehensive security coverage

• Analyze external threat intelligence sources regarding zero-day attacks, exploit kits, and malware, assessing organizational risk and readiness

• Implement knowledge of the incident response lifecycle, including analysis, containment, eradication, remediation, and recovery, to ensure comprehensive incident management

• Produce operational metrics and key performance indicators to measure and enhance security effectiveness and reporting.

• Effectively communicate with the Client to understand any changes to departmental processes

• Serve as a development coach while providing direction and leadership to the assigned resources

• Oversee the identification, evaluation, escalation, resolution and tracking of key issues

• Support performance management process (goal setting, interim and annual performance reviews, etc.

• Identify training and development needs and facilitate appropriate training sessions

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management or a related field from an accredited college/university

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant work experience in cyber security or IT compliance, preferably within a large professional services environment

• Experience in security monitoring, security operations, and incident response activities; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment is preferred

Special Conditions:

• Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• ​Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to use information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
• ​May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
