Customs Clerk Grade I, II & III

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Customs Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing customs documentation to ensure the timely clearance of goods in compliance with all relevant regulations.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and submit customs declarations, entries, and related documentation.
• Liaise with customs authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo clearance.
• Verify accuracy of shipping documents, invoices, and packing lists.
• Track shipments and update internal records to reflect clearance status.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and duty structures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all statutory requirements.
• Provide support with general clerical and administrative duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 CXC/GCE O’ Levels (inclusive of Mathematics and English).
• Must have, Grade I, II, III Customs License
• Working knowledge of Customs procedures and practices relative to processing Imports and Exports
• Versed on Customs Rules and Regulations
• Must have, 1-3 years experance for Grade I, 2-5 years experance for Garde II and 5+ years working experience for grade III
• Knowledge of Ace customs program
• Knowledge of Asycuda
