Mechanical, Chemical, Food, or Electrical Technician, or a related field, with experience in the food and beverage industry, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety.

Customer Service Technician (F&B - St. Lucia)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct theoretical and practical technical assessments to demonstrate product performance and benefits.
  • Execute client technical service plans according to contract requirements.
  • Monitor and control product dosing and ensure proper system operation at client sites.
  • Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to optimize plant processes.
  • Request and manage spare parts for maintenance, inventory, or urgent repairs.
  • Prepare service reports detailing equipment conditions and emergency situations.
  • Train client personnel on proper equipment use through hands-on guidance.
  • Respond to emergencies and support installations at food and beverage plants.
  • Perform physicochemical analyses of products and water quality, interpreting results as required.
  • Participate in plant training processes according to client schedules.
  • Record equipment removals and safeguard company equipment at client sites.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Communicate plant issues promptly and follow all safety procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Microbiology or other related areas.
  • One to two years’ experience in commercial business, preferably chemical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective problem analysis and resolution at the strategic and functional level.
  • Ability to interact successfully with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in equipment maintenance would be a plus
  • Prior knowledge of Diversey chemicals
  • Time and budget management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Highly customer focused.
