Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Hours of Work: Flexible Shift system (Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm; Saturday 7am to 1pm

SALARY: $6,000.00 

 

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent is generally accountable for performing customer service, administrative, and medical records management duties to ensure satisfactory delivery of service to clients and other key stakeholders. The position will also be required to undertake any other related duties as instructed by the Operations Manager.

 

Principal Accountabilities

Customer Service:

  • Undertake key front desk duties, inclusive of greeting clients,  high lighting and reporting patient’s concerns to the relevant person in a timely manner; answering telephones and dispatching messages accordingly
  • Scheduling appointments, and following up with clients as needed
  • Undertaking basic screening of patients prior to their entry to center
  • Completing health plan claim forms and submitting to clients within the standard timeframe
  • Receiving and following up with patients for payments for procedures done

 

Administrative:

  • Assist the with routine administrative tasks and duties  that ensure proper coordination of the office’s functions
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail under office protocols
  • Assist the office staff in monitoring  an agreed level of office supplies and grocery

 

Person Specifications

Academic/ Technical

  • 5 GCE/ CXC O’ level passes, inclusive of English Language and a numerical subject (Mathematics, Accounts etc)
  • Certification in Customer service would be an asset
  • Associate degree in  hospitality, communications, Public Relations , or a related discipline from a recognized institution would be an asset
  • Training in the use of Microsoft Office

Work Experience

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a front line/ customer service position
