Kingston Logistics Center Limited, a leading player in the shipping and logistics industry in Jamaica, is looking for a talented and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our “Faster, Easier, Smarter” KLC team.

The Customer Service Representative will provide assistance, support, and solutions to customers’ inquiries, concerns, and issues.  Our Customer Service Representative will play an important role in maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships with our clients. This position requires excellent communication and problem resolution skills.  If you are passionate about customer service and going the extra mile to exceed customers’ expectations, this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associate degree
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
