The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides critical administrative and customer-facing support to the Sales Manager for Label Sales. This role acts as a liaison between the customer, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless order processing, job tracking, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day communication with assigned customers, responding to inquiries, order updates, and service needs.
  • Coordinate and process label orders from quote through production, including order entry, proofs, delivery tracking, and post-job follow-up.
  • Support the Sales Manager by preparing quotes, client presentations, sales data reports, and maintaining CRM records.
  • Track job status in coordination with the planning and production departments and proactively communicate delays or changes to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of order history, pricing, lead times, and customer specifications.
  • Monitor stock levels for key accounts and coordinate reorders or replenishments as needed.
  • Prepare customer job packets or production briefs to ensure job clarity and reduce rework.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any service issues quickly and professionally.
  • Participate in customer visits, reviews, and commercial meetings as requested by the Sales Manager.
  • Learn the fundamentals of account management with the goal of transitioning into an Account Executive role.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or sales support role; experience in the printing or packaging industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is a plus (e.g., Radius, PrintFlow).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • A team player who is proactive and eager to learn the sales process from the ground up.

Career Progression:
This role is designed to be a training ground for future Account Executives. The selected candidate will be mentored by the Sales Manager and exposed to all aspects of customer and sales management with the goal of transitioning to direct account ownership within 12–24 months.
