JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience that will drive our culture. To process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, operate cash registers, generate sales, merchandising and ensure the protection and security of Company assets. To ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures and to perform other duties that support the effective and efficient operations of the retail store. 

JOB DUTIES

  • Execute exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service to all customers by being a point of contact.
  • Execute active listening and observation skills to all customers.
  • Provide assistance and advice about products and services to all customers.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of all sales, discounts, promotions, and advertisements of the Company.
  • Recommend, select and explain use, operation and care of merchandise to customers.
  • Upsell products based on customer interactions and what they require.
  • Communicate customer requests to management when required and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of customer interactions while maintaining the 8-foot rule.
  • Engage with customers actively on all aisles throughout the shopfloor.
  • Answer customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Escalate customer queries and complaints to the management team.
  • Communicate customer requests to management and place special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
  • Maintain a clean store environment and assist with housekeeping.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish and merchandise all products.
  • Tag price on merchandise and complete price changes for all products within the store.
  • Set up advertising/promotional displays or arrange merchandise on counters or shelves to promote sales.
  • Answer phone and assist customers with queries.
  • Communicate any activities that are not in line with the company policies, procedures, and values to the management team.
  • Demonstrates the use of, promotes and sells cosmetic products and related beauty products/accessories.
  • Check inventory daily for damages and expiries.
  • Count inventory for audit purposes. 

Qualifications/Training/Experience/Skills:

  • Three (3) O’ level passes including Mathematics and English.
  • At least 2 years’ previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Computer Literacy
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
