About the Role
NES Fircroft is seeking a proactive and service-driven Customer Care Officer to support our client’s shipping and logistics operations in St. Lucia.
This temporary role is ideal for an individual with strong communication skills, detail orientation, and experience in coordinating customer inquiries within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries relating to shipments, delivery timelines, documentation, and logistics processes.
Track and monitor shipments, ensuring customers receive timely updates and accurate information.
Coordinate with internal teams, freight carriers, warehouse personnel, and customs agents to resolve delays or service issues.
Prepare, verify, and process shipping and logistics documentation including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery orders.
Maintain accurate customer records, service logs, and escalation reports.
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution and high satisfaction.
Support logistics scheduling, inventory checks, and dispatch coordination as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Prior experience in customer service, shipping, logistics, or freight operations is strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Familiarity with shipping documentation and logistics workflows is an asset.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
