The Currency Machine Operator supports, monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and operating system problems.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Supports, monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and operating system problems;
Installs, upgrades, repairs and maintains end-user IT equipment, this is inclusive of hardware components and associated software.
Maintains and upgrades technical systems or offers recommendations on upgrades;
Coordinates maintenance activities and assists in the examination of equipment;
Performs periodic collection and detailed count of cash from Tellers throughout the shift;
Carefully inspects cash for counterfeit, damaged or otherwise unfit notes;
Performs reconciliation at the end of each shift
Job Requirements
Must possess a minimum of five (5) subjects at the CSEC level, including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts;
A minimum of two (2) years cash handling experience;
Technical support/troubleshooting experience;
Ability to work under pressure and a self-starter;
Attention to detail and strong numerical ability;
Highly motivated, with good organizational skills;
Must be a team player;
Technically inclined with a drive to challenge existing processes and innovate;
Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays and for extended hours.
