Credit Analyst (Montego Bay)

In this role, you will assess application-only credit submissions by evaluating asset loan-to-value (LTV) ratios.

Credit Analyst Role (Montego Bay-Must have Degree in Banking & Finance)

Credit professional to underwrite commercial lease and loan applications in a fast paced and high-volume sales environment. Responsible for accurately and efficiently underwriting qualified applicants within an acceptable time frame.  Must be energetic, detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently in a team setting.

 Essential Functions:

• Responsible for makong credit decisions and mangaing credit portfolio
• Utilize Dun & Bradstreet, Credit Bureau (Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax), and related commercial bureau reports to render a sound credit decision
• Review and validate information included on bank statements, financial statements and other reports
• Validate business existence and reputation through online search engines
• May be required to present transactions above lending authority to management
• Convey credit decisions in a clear and concise manner to individual Sales Representatives
• Communicate in multiple mediums and departments within the organization
• Ensure commercial lease and loan transactions are underwritten according to Credit policy standards
• Comply with Credit audit procedural requirements
• Daily responsibilities may require face to face interaction with the individual Sales Representatives

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualifications (Degree required in related field or equivalent experience)
• 2 - 4 years Loan underwriting experience preferred
• Strong time management skills with an ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Typing speed of 20 WPM or higher.
