Client looking for a Cost Controller/Senior Cost Analyst who ideally should possess 10 years' experience in Cost Analysis and Controls in an Oil and Gas environment.

Job Type: Full-time Contract

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Analyst/Cost Controller or Cost Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success in the LNG industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cost analysis and cost controls, with a proven track record of optimizing project budgets and ensuring efficient financial management.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast costs, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on cost performance for management review.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost analysis and cost controls.

Requirements:

• Preferred but not essential - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum Diploma Level
• Proven experience in cost analysis and cost controls, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) will be an advantage.
