The Cost Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to help our organization make informed business decisions. The incumbent identifies areas for cost reduction, optimize resource allocation, and provide financial insights to support strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Conduct detailed analysis of costs, including direct and indirect costs, to identify areas for improvement.
•  Develop and maintain financial models to forecast costs, revenues, and profitability.
•  Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as process improvements, vendor negotiations, and resource optimization.
•  Prepare financial reports, including cost reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve financial performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Desirable Skills:

- Professional certification 
- Experience with cost accounting and financial planning software
- Knowledge of industry-specific cost analysis techniques
