Corporate Business Executive
A well-established regional organisation within the insurance and financial services sector is seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused professional to join its Corporate Business team in a confidential capacity.
This role is ideal for an ambitious professional with experience in corporate sales, client relationship management, and strategic account development. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, strengthening broker and corporate relationships, and supporting long-term business retention strategies across Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Corporate Relationship Management
- Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with brokers, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.
- Drive new business acquisition through prospecting, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and solution-based selling.
- Manage corporate account renewals and contribute to business retention initiatives.
- Collaborate internally to develop competitive and profitable client solutions tailored to corporate needs.
Client Implementation & Account Management
- Coordinate onboarding and implementation activities for new corporate accounts across the Caribbean region.
- Deliver client education and support regarding products, services, and utilisation processes.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall corporate client experience and engagement.
Service Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure exceptional service standards and responsive communication with corporate clients and brokers.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate timely issue resolution and service excellence.
- Monitor account activity and maintain strong client engagement practices.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare and maintain sales pipeline reports, account updates, renewal tracking, and business activity reports.
- Analyse client trends and portfolio performance data to support strategic discussions and recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, account management, or corporate client services.
- Experience managing professional client and broker relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or employee benefits solutions would be considered an asset.
