Construction Manager

We are seeking experienced and qualified Construction Managers to join our team in the Cayman Islands. This is a unique opportunity to live and work in a tax-neutral jurisdiction while contributing to dynamic, high-profile projects.

Phoenix Construction Ltd. is a leading construction firm in the Cayman Islands, proudly serving the region since 1979. We specialize in Commercial, Industrial, and high-end residential projects, offering full-service design, build, and project management.

An approved Cayman Islands work permit will be provided. Applicants must have a clean criminal record (including no DUIs). If English is not your first language, a TOEIC English test will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting
• Manage procurement and long-lead materials
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, punch lists, and closeouts
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure project quality and timelines
• Enforce safety standards and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of recent experience in the construction industry
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and cost-control software
• Experience with AutoCAD and design-build methods is a plus
• OSHA safety certification (within the last 3 years)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• PMP Certification is an asset
