Construction Budgets and Certifications Manager

Responsibilities

Budgeting & Cost Management:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor budgets for all active construction projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and forecasts in collaboration with project managers and estimators.
• Track actual project expenditures against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Review and analyze cost reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Certifications & Payments

• Manage the preparation and processing of monthly payment applications and contractor certifications.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with contract terms.
• Collaborate with contractors and project managers to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain certification logs and track the status of approvals and payments.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure that all financial documentation meets internal controls and audit standards.
• Maintain accurate records for budgeting, contracts, change orders, and certifications.
• Support audits and financial reporting by providing required documentation and reports.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with project teams both locally and regionally ( Spain DR), contractors, procurement, and accounting departments.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports and projections for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures related to construction finance operations.
