To maintain investigations capability and capacity, the Commissioner of Police is seeking to recruit Detective Constables for the Headquarters Investigative Support Unit. The investigations are in connection with those identified by the Commission of Inquiry report.
Role Responsibilities
Conduct detailed investigations to establish if charges should be preferred in relation to expenditure and revenue of Government Departments, agencies and non-governmental organisations identified in the Commission of Inquiry’s report.
Where criminality is identified to prepare relevant case files to support prosecution.
Uphold the professional standards of the force.

One (1) year contract. Allowances valued up to $13,800.00 are assigned to this position.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience- A minimum of three (3) years’ recent experience in the role of detective/ constable
- Accredited investigator to PIP 2 or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Extensive serious crime investigation experience including fraud and financial crime
- Ability to assimilate and interpret complex data and information
- Experience of working on sensitive enquiries (preferable)
- Experience of Major Incident Room processes (preferable)
- Absolute integrity and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to manage priorities whilst balancing workload
- A high level of inter-personal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- A commitment to understanding local laws and police powers and ensure compliance
