The Communications Research Officer is responsible for planning and organizing Corporate Events. The job has significant impact on public knowledge of the Trust’s Products and Services and related value propositions and opportunities for the Public.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
ü NVQ Level 5 Certification or a bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as: Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Media Publications and Research and Events Management or equivalent
ü At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience in a comparable position and business environment such as a higher education institution, a public body, a financial institution, a utility company or a media house

KEY DUTIES:
ü Coordinates research into internal and external information needs.
ü Contributes to or undertakes programme-oriented research and campaigns.
ü Edits Press Releases, Publications and other information materials.
ü Designs and undertakes specific campaigns, as may be assigned.
ü Organizes (plans and implements) Corporate Events.
ü Evaluates Corporate Events.
ü Develops, support and promote the Trust’s goals, including message development, and Media outreach.
ü Undertakes drafting and reviews and development of all content for internal and external communication including virtual space.
ü Reviews internal contents prior to dissemination to employees.
ü Provides exceptional services in managing virtual communications.
ü Assists to develop content for the print, virtual and broadcast media.
ü Assists with material for Social Networking Websites on behalf of the Trust.
ü Preserves and promote company reputation among staff and clients.
ü Oversees all creative inputs on the Trust’s Communications and Publications.
ü Assists with the hosting of the Website and upgrades content regularly.
ü Assists with the preparation of the communication and Media Promotion budget.
