Communications Director

The Communications Director (Public, Internal, and Corporate Relations) is responsible for shaping, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive communication strategy that enhances the company’s reputation, fosters positive stakeholder relationships, and promotes internal alignment

Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, or a related field; 
• Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

Major Duties

• Develop and execute a robust PR strategy to promote and protect the company’s reputation across all markets.
• Build and maintain media relationships, serving as a primary spokesperson and point of contact for media inquiries.
• Oversee the development of press releases, media statements, and press kits to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand messaging.
• Manage crisis communication strategies, including response protocols, media handling, and executive advisories, to mitigate reputational risks.
• Create and implement an internal communications strategy to keep employees across the group informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s vision and objectives and any corporate updates.
• Develop internal communication materials, including newsletters, intranet content, town hall presentations, and executive updates, to reinforce culture and organizational goals for the Hub marketing team.
• Partner with HR and department heads to communicate major initiatives, policy updates, and employee-focused programs.
• Establish a feedback loop with employees to gather insights on internal communications effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
• Oversee stakeholder relations, fostering positive and proactive engagement with investors, regulators, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead corporate responsibility and sustainability communications, emphasizing the company’s commitment to social impact and ethical business practices.
• Create and manage key corporate reports, including annual and sustainability reports, to communicate company achievements and build trust with stakeholders.
• Develop and uphold brand voice guidelines to maintain consistency across all communications, ensuring alignment with company values.
• Oversee content creation and review for external channels, including social media, blog posts, press releases, and corporate announcements.
• Ensure all public-facing materials convey a unified message, reflecting the brand’s identity and enhancing brand equity.
• Develop and update crisis communication plans and protocols, training key team members to respond quickly and effectively.
• Lead crisis response efforts, coordinating messaging across internal and external channels to minimize potential impact on the company’s reputation.
• Monitor media and social media channels for potential risks, managing issues before they escalate and providing strategic advisories to executives.
• Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, using insights to improve future initiatives.
• Regularly analyze data on public perception, employee engagement, and stakeholder feedback, reporting results to senior leadership.
• Adjust communication strategies based on performance insights, ensuring ongoing alignment with business goals.
